২২ তম রাজ্য ওয়ার্কিং কমিটি সভার রিপোর্ট  

রাজ্য ওয়ার্কিং কমিটির সদস্যদের অনুপস্থিতির কারণে (কোরাম-এর অভাবে )  সভার কাজ মুলতুবি রাখা হয় . উপস্থিত সদস্য ও আমন্ত্রিতরা নিজদের মধ্য শিল্পের সংকট ও সংগঠন সম্পর্কে আলোচনা করেন . বকেয়া affiliation fees ও fund এর অবস্থা নিয়েও আলোচনা করেন . সভাতে উপস্থিত Domkol Milk Chilling Plant এর প্রতিনিধিদের আলোচনার ভিত্তিতে ওই কেন্দ্রের শ্রমিকদের  নবগঠিত "পশ্চিমবঙ্গ দুগ্ধ শিল্প শ্রমিক কর্মচারী ইউনিয়ন"(PBDSSK Union) এর সাথে যুক্ত করা হয় . ওই উদ্দ্যেশে আগামী ৪ ঠা মার্চ '২০১১ দোমকলে এক কর্মী সভার আয়োজন করা হবে . উক্ত সভাতে কমরেড মলয় নন্দী উপস্থিত থাকবেন . একই ভাবে আগামী ৩ রা মার্চ ' ২০১১ কিষান দুগ্ধ কর্মচারী সংগঠনের সভাতে কমরেড নন্দী উপস্থিত থাকবেন . কমরেড নন্দী "PBDSSK Union" হাওড়া মিল্টন ডেয়ারী ইউনিটের সভাতেও উপস্থিত থাকবেন . 

আগামী ১২ ই মার্চ ' ২০১১ পরবর্তী রাজ্য ওয়ার্কিং কমিটির সভা বোলপুরে হবে বলে আপাত ভাবে স্থির হয়েছে .

A Report On  Dairy Sector 

Thanks to “Operation Flood”, India today stands first in the world in terms of milk production .The output is expected to be about 108 million tonnes (estimate for 2007), growing at a compounded annual growth rate of 4%. Consumption of milk has registered a growth of nearly 8.4% (in urban areas) and is currently valued at US$ 16 billion.

Within India, the dairy sector also ranks second in terms of processed foods with 37% of the produce being processed. The organised sector processes an estimated 15% of the total milk output in India. There are 676 dairy plants registered with Government of India, which come under the organised sector.

According to estimates of “Dairy India 2007”, the current size of the Indian dairy sector is US$ 62.67 billion and has been growing at a rate of 5% a year. Both production and consumption of milk and its derivatives are traditionally high in the country. The dairy exports in 2007-08 rose to US$ 210.50 million against US$ 113.57 million in the corresponding period, in the last fiscal, whereas the domestic dairy sector is slated to cross US$ 108 billion in revenues by 2011.

22nd State Working Committee Meeting

The 22nd SWC Meeting of our organization is scheduled on 17th February'2011 (Thursday) at 10.30 AM at Mother Dairy City Office (LB-2, Sector-III, Salt Lake City, Kolkata-700098. 

All State Working Committee Members are hereby requested to attend the said meeting. The proposed agenda of the said meeting is as under,

• Reporting of the meeting held on 24th Nov'10 at Milk Fedn Office between MIC ARD and the representatives of WBSDEF.
• Reporting on any other issue with the permission of Chairman.
• Assessment of progress and overall unit wise situation of the Dairy Industry after the meeting with MIC.
• Issues relating to "PBDSSK Union".
• Discussion on 4th Tri-yearly Conference including fixing of Date,Time,Place and Budget.
• Miscellaneous, if any, with the permission of the Chairman.
